From Atlantic Records,
"Diddy is back and hotter than ever! Don't believe it? Check out his brand new single, 'Come To Me', featuring the very sexy Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls. This is just a glimpse of what you can expect from his upcoming album, PRESS PLAY. Yes, Diddy is at it again! It may be hard to imagine how he finds time to perfect an album of his own, but like everything he produces, you know he won't accept anything less than the best! So watch out, Diddy is coming to you in full force! Check the links below to listen to his first single off PRESS PLAY, in stores this October!"

Diddy to Sing on Press Play

FOXNEWS.com's Roger Friedman, reports: "Sean Combs is giving up the gangsta rap route. He’s getting romantic. And, though I’m not sure he even knows it himself, he’s going R&B. Well, “hip hop R&B,” as he put it yesterday, when he played me six tracks — still unmixed and unfinished — from his forthcoming album. I can tell you the title is “Press Play,” and it will be released on Oct. 3 by his Bad Boy label through the ailing Warner Music Group. And here’s my prediction: Headlines are going to read "Diddy Saves Edgar Bronfman’s Rear End." "Press Play” is an album of firsts. For one thing, Combs — who will be known as Diddy on this venture, not Puff or Puff Daddy or P. Diddy or Do Wah Diddy — actually sings on a record for the first time."

This album should be exceptionally good, an album which will be feature first, and expected to be Combs' last album.

PD 5 Scrapped.. Press Play On Oct. 3

Looks like the long-awaited album, PD Five has had a change in creativity direction. The LP now will simply be called, Press Play. The album is expected to feature, Kanye West, Pharrell, Mary J. Blige, Pharoahe Monch, Brandy, Just Blaze, and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, reports MTV.com.
Diddy has scrapped the PDV (PD Five) album name he's been working with for the past year. The official title for his October 3 release is now simply Press Play, an ode to Puff's vow to not overhype his LP. "I'm known for dramatic titles — 'Unforgivable' the cologne, [the albums] No Way Out, Forever, The Saga Continues," he said yesterday in his Daddy's House Studios. "I've evolved a little bit. Studied the game, been a part of it, had success. It all comes down to pressing play. After you press play, it's gonna make or break you in this game. That's where I'm at. We about to press play on October 3, and hopefully I can make people feel good."

For the past year and a half, Diddy has been working with a huge list of collaborators that includes Kanye West, Pharrell, Mary J. Blige, Brandy, Pharoahe Monch, Just Blaze, Will.I.Am and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and Mobb Deep's Havoc. The first single is a toss-up between "Tell Me," featuring Christina Aguilera, and "Come to Me," featuring Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls on the hook.
